Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away…
– Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
About: Born and raised in New York City, I’ve lived in Hunterdon County, NJ for over 30 years. I’ve been a photographer since high school, starting out shooting mostly black and white TRI-X on an Exakta VX500 single lens reflex (SLR) 35mm camera. In college I gravitated to shooting the nice bright colors of Kodachrome when I advanced to Nikon SLRs. I moved to the Canon EOS digital system about 15 years ago.
Photographic Interests: High dynamic range photography, macro, architecture, landscape, trains, and of course, birds and wildlife. I enjoy applying new technologies like AI and wireless camera tethering to improve image quality and composition.
Technical Details: Currently using Canon EOS 5Dsr 35mm digital single lens reflex (DSLR) cameras and Canon EOS R5 Mark II and R6 full frame 35mm mirrorless cameras.
