About:
Originally from New York City, I’ve called Hunterdon County, NJ home for over 30 years. My passion for photography began in high school, starting with black-and-white images captured on a vintage Exakta VX500 35mm SLR. During college, I transitioned to the vibrant colors of Kodachrome film using Nikon SLRs. About 15 years ago, I moved into the digital world with the Canon EOS system.

Photographic Interests:
I have a wide range of photographic interests including high dynamic range (HDR) photography, macro, architecture, landscapes, trains, and, most notably, birds and wildlife. I also enjoy exploring new technologies such as AI-assisted editing and wireless camera tethering to enhance image quality and creative composition. Recently I have taken up a challenging new horizon: AI video production.

Technical Details:
I currently shoot with Canon EOS R5 Mark II and R6 full-frame mirrorless cameras. My lens collection spans focal lengths from 11mm to 700mm. When needed, I incorporate the Godox flash system along with various light modifiers. All images are captured in RAW format and post-processed using Adobe Photoshop CC, Topaz Photo AI, and Lightroom Classic. I also create digital illustrations using DAZ3D and other software. For printing, I use archival-quality pigment printers capable of producing prints up to 13×19″ and panoramic prints up to 36″ wide.

AI:
I actively embrace AI tools for image editing and selective content creation, always clearly indicating when synthetic elements are used.
